Authors and Team — ClockAura
ClockAura is a small, independent project. Every article is written or reviewed by a named author below. Our editorial work is governed by the Editorial Policy at /editorial-policy — we cite primary sources, fact-check before publication, disclose AI use, and keep advertising fully separate from editorial. We publish corrections openly and welcome reader feedback at info@clockaura.com. We do not invent author credentials: when an article needs subject-matter review by a credentialed expert, we hold publication until we can have it reviewed and named, and that reviewer is then credited on the piece with a link to their public profile.
Om Vaghani is the founder and principal engineer. He built ClockAura in 2024 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He handles product, design, infrastructure and the core timer engineering for the entire site. Before ClockAura he worked as a full-stack engineer building React and Node.js applications for SaaS startups in the productivity and education sectors. He writes most of our productivity, remote-work and timer-engineering articles, and reviews every other piece for technical accuracy. His public writing appears on the ClockAura blog and on the ClockAura X account @ClockAuraApp. He responds to reader email at info@clockaura.com within seven business days. Outside ClockAura, Om enjoys long-distance running and home cooking — both of which inspired several of the tools on the site.
Editorial review process — before publication, every article on ClockAura is checked against the Editorial Policy. Every statistic is traced to a primary source (peer-reviewed studies on PubMed/DOIs, government health agencies like the NIH, NHS or FDA, or recognised medical authorities like Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic), every external link is opened and verified, and any AI-assisted research is disclosed at the bottom of the article. Articles touching on health, fitness, food safety or child welfare are held until we can have them reviewed by a credentialed subject-matter expert; those reviews are published with a named "Reviewed by" line and a link to the reviewer's public profile.
We welcome pitches from qualified contributors — teachers, coaches, certified personal trainers, certified yoga or meditation instructors, dietitians, nurses, sleep researchers, and developers working on related tools. Pitch us at info@clockaura.com with a one-paragraph idea, links to two prior writing samples, and a short note on your relevant credentials. Accepted contributors receive a public byline with their photo and a link to their professional profile (LinkedIn, X, personal site, or institutional page). We pay contributors per published piece; rates are disclosed up-front. Corrections: spot an error in any article? Email info@clockaura.com with "Correction" in the subject line; we verify and update within five business days, with a note in the article's revision log.
