How far into the future can I set a countdown?
There is no practical limit — set it ten years out if you want. JavaScript represents dates well into the next century.
What happens when the date arrives?
The counter hits zero and shows a "Time's up!" message. The saved event stays in your list — you can keep it as a memento or delete it.
Are saved events private?
They are not searchable, but the URL slug is short. Anyone with the link can view it. Do not put sensitive information in the title.
Can I edit a saved event later?
Editing is on the roadmap. For now, delete the old event and create a fresh one with the correct details.
Can multiple people watch the same countdown?
Yes — the URL is the only access requirement. Send it to anyone and they see the same live counter as you.
